We celebrate today the sixty first anniversary of the birth of your Party of the missions, the Arab Baath Socialist party, which designed from the very beginning its eternal motto: one Arab Nation with an eternal mission.. defining its noble objectives in Unity, Freedom and Socialism..establishing national organizations all over the Arab homeland and preparing itself to carry the struggle missions all over the Arab homeland.. Yes! Indeed! The Baath with its creative and inventive thought incarnated a scientific and a revolutionary thorough analysis of the Arab situation..becoming the living heart beat of the Arab masses which found in the Baath' thought a radical cure against division, backwardness and corruption endured by the Arab nation, as a thought, an organization and a militant endeavor.. expressing most sincerely the Nation's wishes and its hopes for liberation, and dignified life.

The official declaration of the Baath Party birth after its first meeting held in the 7 April 1947 was a crowning of more than fourteen years of announcing the good tidings of the Party philosophy, its principles, undertaken by the comrade leader founder Ahmad Michel Aflak, may the Lord have mercy upon him, and his first comrades since 1933.. when he wrote the articles (The heroic era in 1933) and (The riches of life in 1936) and (The Arab apostle birthday in 1943) etc..These articles were the first founding bricks of the Baath which defined its radical revolutionary qualities, and merits and determined the aptitudes and the merits of its militants who utterly reject the corrupt Arab state of affairs.. Thus the Baath was indeed and rightly the Party of the new Arab renaissance' Party and the Nation' vanguard to confront the challenges which threaten the Arab Nation' very existence such as division, backwardness, exploitation, and the Zionist entity usurpation of Palestine.. In this case the Palestinian cause was the central cause and in the heart of the Party struggle towards achieving the Nation objectives into freedom, unity and socialism.

The Baath has surpassed with its philosophy, organization and practices all the other Parties' narrow minded unilateral leftist policies and currents as it surpassed too every nationalistic chauvinistic and fanatical thinking, void of any socialist democratic content. The Baath thus was a patriotic, national, socialist and democratic at the same time..practicing the unifying, liberation' struggle and the socialist militancy to fight exploitation.. The Baath also undertook to sow awareness about its revolutionary mission and that its was impossible for the Arab nation to unite and to get liberated in the shadow of exploitation and oppression.. For this reason the objectives of Unity, Freedom and Socialism came as a global revolutionary and utter solution for the Arab present contradictions in establishing the new revolutionary basis in the unity, freedom, and socialist society where will be achieved the unity of the Nation and its liberation from colonialism enjoying democracy and freedom in its every day life and achieving socialism and the social equity.

Under the banner of this enlightening thought, Arabs joined the ranks of existence battle against colonialists, division, backwardness, despotic regimes linked to colonialists for more than sixty years.. They were able to ignite the revolutions of 8th February in Iraq and the 8th March in Syria in 1963.. The Baath militants borne with a deep faith and a high awareness and clad with a rare will of battle, confronted the treason of the 18th November 1963 in Iraq and were able once again to accomplish the 17th -30th July 1968 in Iraq which achieved radical agricultural reforms and an agricultural revolution.. with hundreds even thousands of advanced agricultural, and industrial projects.. nationalized the petrol of Iraq on the first of June 1972 and achieved socialism according to the Baath pan Arab vision, accompanied by a formidable gigantic development which provided well being, cultural and moral progress for the people of Iraq.. the building of thousands of schools, and tens of universities.. and the ideological army which defended the nation's honor its supreme battles against the usurper Zionist Entity.. The Iraqi Army confronted the Iranian regime aggression for eight decisive years crowned with the formidable victory on the 8th August 1988.. When the US Zionist axis felt that its illegal interests and evil projects were threatened, they launched the thirty countries bloodthirsty aggression in 1991 and imposed an inhuman blockade which lasted thirteen years followed by their last shameful aggression on the 20th March 2003 occupying Iraq on the 9th April of the same year.

Criminal Bush administration targeted the Baath revolution in Iraq.. For its first occupation' plan in Iraq was (uprooting the Baath), and disbanding the heroic Iraqi army. Yes! Indeed! Uprooting the Baath means in fact: uprooting Iraq, uprooting the people and uprooting the Nation!) For this reason, the Resistance against the Occupation was a Baathist, an Islamic, a patriotic and a national pan Arab Resistance which attracted all Iraq elite, its Mujahideen and the Nation's pure Mujahideen... in a battle which was and still is a Jihadi, patriotic, pan Arab national and unique battle, expressing the continuing Iraq and the Arab nation rebirth as it is the redemption and Jihad spirit of the Iraq Mujahideen, men and women alike who get inspiration from the immense meanings of the Baath 61st anniversary and remember its martyrs' corteges including modern times' martyrs' master the great Hadj - Mecca pilgrimage- martyr, comrade leader Saddam Hussein and his comrades murdered on the Occupation', treason' and aggression' hands.

Your Arab Baath socialist Party' Mujahideen, were capable throughout the last five years to resist the US occupiers and their puppets, expressing the Baath pure enlightening thought and its continuous Jihad ability.. The Baath was able even to be borne again as a thought, an organization and as a struggle..
Comrade Mujahid Izzat Ibrahim al Duri, has played an outstanding role in leading the Party' and the Resistance Jihad since the first day of the occupation and in particular the time after the detention of the great al Hadj martyr comrade leader Saddam Hussein, may the Lord have mercy upon his blessed soul, on the 13th December 2003 and throughout his detention' years and when he was referred to the illegal kangaroo court and murdered on the 30th December 2006 on the first day of the Sacrifice Feast - al Adh'ha, with sectarian and divisive slogans.. Comrade Mujahid Izzat Ibrahim al Duri was ready to lead the Baath struggle and the Resistance' Jihad, he established a strategy for the Baath and the Resistance, defined its fundamental poles and called the Party cadres and militants for a serious review of the Party experience concerning the struggle and the leading of the State and the society.. to draw the necessary lessons in a franc, clear, scientific and revolutionary vision. He was able with his Mujahideen comrades to reorganize the Party in the new spirit of the Jihad phase and re enforce its role and act to unite the Resistance Mujahideen various factions.. setting the Jihad and Liberation Supreme Command under his directives, establishing the Patriotic, National and Islamic Front and announcing its Liberation and Independence Jihad program. Our Party thus has changed, as many Arab militants say, from a (governing Party) for more than thirty five years to a (Resisting Party) throughout the last five years confronting the Occupation and starting the sixth year of this decisive confrontation in a strategic clear future vision using the continuation of the Jihad to unite the Mujahid Resistance ranks.. until expelling the occupiers, putting an end to the Occupation and achieve a total and integral independence.
The last five years of the Resistance life against the Occupation, was truly filled with the Party militants' Jihad and their enlightened generous thought expressing a creative renaissance of the Party and the balanced Jihad construction for its militants, and all the Resistance factions, expressing also a doctrinal, militancy and an organizational battle to achieving the Party unity, struggle and organization in confronting the divisive, sectarian and ethnic hideous plans.. Our Party was once again as it was always the people's unifier and a pure expression of its patriotic and its pan Arab national identity, and incarnating in a splendid way its civilization renaissance, the continuation of its Jihad and its rebirth for independence, construction and progress towards glory and nobility summits.
This is the way our people and our Arab nation' sons and daughters celebrate the 61st anniversary of the Baath, rich in its thought, its Jihad, its unshakable will and its destiny as it is an efficient tool to unite all the Resistance' factions and the political forces which reject the Occupation.. The Baath is an expression of the Arab nation spirit and its ability to renew itself, rise again and efficiently participate to build the human civilization edifice..
We seize this occasion to salute the Baathist militants all over the Arab nation and every where else, in the US' cages and the US' jails camps and the puppet government's..We salute the detained Baathist Mujahideen, the Arab and Palestinian Resisters jailed in the Zionist Entity's jails.. We renew our promise and our vow for them, and for the Baath and the Resistance' martyrs first and for the Arab militants in our homeland and all over the world that we shall go ahead with the Jihad until the shining of the liberation and victory dawn..
