The US Administration is the number one responsible for the safety of His Excellency President Saddam Hussein!
To the Arab and World Public opinion
We have already in the past warned that the US administration is planning to liquidate his Excellency President Saddam Hussein, the legitimate Iraqi President and the Secretary General of our Party - May the Lord safeguard him from the hands of his enemies - through a trial masquerade lacking every basic or important justice requirements. Yes! Indeed! This tribunal is a creation of the Occupation which has no right whatsoever to change the legal system or to try the people in charge in the Occupied Country. The days have confirmed the veracity of what we already said: the tribunal established by Paul Bremer the former US governor of Iraq, doesn't only strike a blow against Iraq legal system and the dignity of its people, but also it insults the whole international legal system by despising every basic Law in refusing the minimum requirements of a so called just tribunal, murdering lawyers and witnesses, terrorizing, and chasing them and their families, detaining and torturing every witness presenting information in favor of his Excellency the President and the Iraqi legitimate Leadership. This shameful behavior has gone so low in this monstrous tribunal to allow the puppet government to change judges as it happened when Judge Razgar Mohammad Amin was forced to step down and when Judge Abdullah Al Umary was asked to go. These lawyers wanted to hold on to some Law formalities, in spite of being chosen by the Occupation and trained at its hands for this tribunal, and they are from the categories which back the Occupation.
The US Occupation despise and disrespect of any law and principles have reached unprecedented records when appointing a novice judge who lacks every condition to be in charge of a tribunal and mainly lacks self-restraint plus being very hostile against the legitimate and detained Leadership of Iraq. Also this individual is ignorant, lacking the most basic conditions of a Judge such as wisdom, reasoning, and self control. This truth has been fast uncovered by the public opinion since the very first day he presided the masquerade tribunal.
Our Party, the Arab Baath Socialist Party draws the attention of the Public opinion to the following:
1- This tribunal is set and directed by the US administration and the people of Iraq have absolutely nothing to do with it. The interfering of the puppet government in the course of the trial, and the changing of its judges has been and still is undertaken through US orders and direct meddling, for there are US militaries that supervise the tribunal and direct it publicly and in front of every one attending its sessions.
2- The direct objective of this masquerade is to humiliate the legitimate leadership of Iraq and draw it to some useless encounters with individuals, insipid and degraded morally and from a patriotic point of view such as the Judge Mohammed al Uraybi and the public prosecutors Jaafar Musawi, and Munqith Faroon, in order to distort the President’s image who is known to be a great historical leader who enjoys the respect and the love of millions from the people of the world and specially the Arabs.
We must here remind that the original plan set after the invasion, was not to assassinate physically the President but to detain him and organize a degraded comedy showing him in a way which doesn't represent what is known of him, such as heroism and pride; for killing him physically will definitely make out of him a great martyr for all Muslims, who will visit his tomb shrine as the Mujahedeens' Imam. That is why the US has decided to kill the President morally through inventing the dubious "Hole story" and the second chapter being the masquerade tribunal in order to show his Excellency the President in a way which doesn't go with his heroism and his extraordinary calm, and respectful behavior through crises and great difficulties.
While from the very beginning, this tribunal became the trial of the US, of its crimes and its stooges, the President reversed this plan from its very foundations and instead of distorting his image and killing him physically, Saddam Hussein's image as a world hero and a historic leader has become even greater destroying many of the plan’s pillars set by the US and International Zionism to demonize his Excellency, for decades.. Saddam Hussein appeared in front of the public opinion, the genuine, the polite and well brought up man, the courageous who is open to his people, the man with clean hands, the pure in his patriotism, the man who never makes any compromises on the interests of Iraq and the Arab Nation even though the price to pay would be his own life.
That is why the US went on even lower in its behavior. Thus Washington brought a judge known to be morally degraded, a debased individual in sense of patriotism, and an ignorant of the Law, to try the world genius and the master of its courageous and heroic men.
3- The US - Iranian hatred against President Saddam Hussein resulted in dual plans. The moral murder plan and the physical murder plan for his Excellency. It has been noticed that the impertinence, and the false accusations in a horrible shameful way, are to quickly end the trial and issue an already set decision. The reason behind this expeditious behavior is the looming resounding US military great collapse due to the victory of the Iraqi National Armed Resistance, which has forced the Bush Administration to set a really revengeful scenario against the Iraqi People and against its legitimate leadership before the fatal defeat, and the US cutting and running away from Iraq.
In this light, our Party warns the US administration again from undertaking any further debased revengeful decision against President Saddam Hussein and his comrades and impute the US administration all responsibility and the following consequences! For the tribunal and the government in Baghdad are nothing but tools in the Occupation's hands. Moreover everybody knows that it is the US which governs Iraq and not the Maliki puppet government.
Our Party will never keep quiet if another irrational act is undertaken against Iraq. The Party will chase those who are responsible even if it takes years and generations to bring them to justice for their crimes. Also our Party warns Massood Barazani and Jalal Talabani of their treason against Iraq and for their behavior against his Excellency the President and for their total involvement in the trial masquerade by bringing the Kurdish false witnesses pretending that the "Anfal" Campaign targeted the Kurds as a people, and not the criminal rebels. We tell them: you are the ones who know best that the Baath and Saddam Hussein and nobody else recognized the Kurdish nation contrary to the governments of other countries... so why do you accuse the patriotic regime of anything against the Kurds? Why do you fabricate and set up lies, pay false witnesses and whisper lessons to them..?
Our Party, the Arab Baath Socialist Party, is not a passing movement; it is not some people's fleeting desire. It is a historical movement with historical objectives and high and noble principles... That is why its eradication is a useless endeavor... and it is useless to try harming it or harming its leadership or its militants. We assert now to let no one be mistaken. The Baath is as eternal as the Arab Nation itself, and every time it encounters difficulties it comes out even stronger, with more support from the masses, and every time a leader goes, behind him thousands others sprout... The Occupation experience has proved this very truth despite the assassination of thousands of Baathists which has become the Occupation's essential target and the debaathification bill. The Baath today is stronger than it was before the invasion.
And when we warn... we say that the Baath with its allies the Mujahedeens from various factions are destined to come back soon to govern. The Baath will bring to justice every one who committed a crime against Iraq and against its People be it individuals, Parties, a group of people, a government or a state.
Based on this, we call upon all the Parties in the world, and international personalities who are against the war and the aggression, those who are for peace, the Human Rights Organizations, writers, authors, journalists, Brussels tribunal and others in the World to raise their voices now against the tribunal which contradicts the basic law principles and demand Justice for Iraq and ask the withdrawal of the Occupation forces without any conditions.
If there are people in the West who have different opinions about President Saddam Hussein, this should not prevent them from defending Justice and international legitimacy for nobody asked the Vietnamese revolution supporters in the world to back the Vietnamese Communist Party policies and programs during the US aggression against Vietnam. The decisive and political question right now is not about ideological or political appreciation for that or the other, but to define a correct stand in regard to the Occupation of Iraq and its results and consequences... the tribunal being one of the Occupation’s creations and one of its production.
Long live his Excellency President Saddam Hussein, the leader of the People and of the Party.
Long live Iraqi Armed National Resistance with all its factions as a legitimate and sole representative of the people of Iraq.
Long live Iraq, free, and Arab with all its components living in harmony and enjoying equal rights!
Long live the Islamic, patriotic and national front!
Long live the Palestinian National Resistance!
