The Kurdish rebellion unravels its ultimate separatist cards!
Masses of our great Iraqi People!
Despite of all the patriotic and principles tolerant stands of the Party and the glorious 17-30 revolution into dealing with the Kurdish rebellion leaders, these war lords were always treating Iraq as a temporary station to jump on the opportunity to separate from Iraq, and harming its people, including the sons and daughters of our Iraqi Kurdish people faithful to Iraq and to its soil. Moreover despite the well known historical truth to the world that the Baath and Iraq leadership were the only ones who granted our Kurdish people its integral national rights, recognizing the Kurdish nationalism as documented into the Iraqi Constitution, and putting that into practice through considering the Kurdish language as the second one after the Holy Koran language in all Iraq, and pushing that language to be taught into universities, schools, TV channels and written Media and everything else in the Self-rule region and developing the region economically, socially and culturally in a pace faster than any in other parts of Iraq, establishing a local elected Parliament (the Legislative Council) and a local government (the executive Council), which held highly wide decisions making powers. Despite all that the rebellion war lords didn't accept these historical achievements denied to the Kurds in Turkey where 18 million Kurds live, and in Iran where more than 8 million Kurds live, they went on with their armed rebellion and cooperated with the enemies of Iraq directly and publicly, such as the US, the Zionist Entity and the Safawides' regime in Iran while Iraq was enduring its biggest hardship when attacked by the thirty aggressors countries led by the US, more than 40 countries and 28 armies in 1991; then an embargo was imposed on the Iraqi people killing more than two million Iraqi citizens and exposing the rest to sufferings rarely encountered by any other people in the world.
Freedom loving men and women of Iraq!
Although all these stands are considered legally as a supreme national treason according to the constitutions of most countries, and despite that the Kurdish rebellion was refusing the involvement of the Iraqi State in the Autonomy Region insisting to remain outside the State sovereignty in the period between 1991 and 2003, Iraqi leadership and in particular Saddam Hussein ( may the Lord free him from the hands of his enemies) dealt wisely and patiently with this issue for the benefit of our Kurdish people in particular, and the Iraq people in general. Thus the self-rule region continued to get every help it needed from the Patriotic Iraqi government such as the technical help, the military protection as any region submitting to the sovereignty of the State.
The events in 1996 were a significant indicator on how the Patriotic government cared about its people, and how it dealt in a patient and restraint manner with the rebellion war lords to safeguard the national unity, and keep all doors open for these leaders to reconsider their positions and to return back to the Iraqi Sovereignty. Consequently in that very year Mr. Massud Barazani has asked his Excellency President Saddam Hussein, for an urgent rescue, because he was routed by his rival Jalal Talabani in the battlefields, which went on for years and led to the death of thousands of Kurds because Talabani had military and human support from Iran. This is a well known and documented fact. At that time the army of Iraq, the Army of all the Iraqi State, moved and liberated the Autonomous Region without shooting one single bullet and forced the US and the Iranians who were gathered there plotting against Iraq to flee. Then Iraq handed over the authority to Barazani and withdrew from the region. There is an important truth, which Iraqi consciences must not forget: Iraq was at that time under a no fly zone with altitudes and longitudes lines imposed by the US and its allies to prevent the Iraqi armed forces from reaching the Autonomous Region and the Southern areas while air bombing targeted the Iraqi armed forces daily and systematically. Despite all this and as an answer to Mr. Barazani rescue call, Iraq freed the region, as an unmistakable indicator that Iraq keeps on holding to all her sons and daughters including those who made errors such as the rebellion war lords.
We wander if Barazani and his group show any gratitude towards this position? Does he ever understand this great lesson that Iraq has a wide heart and is forgiving with its sons and daughters and bears their errors and their devious stands for the unity of Iraq to prevent its nationals war and rebellion ordeals ?
For the sake of history and truth we divulge now what was confidential in the Iraqi State: that in the period before the US invasion, links remained and continued between MM. Massud Barazani and Jalal and that Iraqi government's representatives to exchange views to find a solution for the rebellion problems through amicable means, and cure wounds instead of opening them. Meetings were organized on a weekly basis in-between Iraqi officials and Kurdish organizations. The financial support never stopped to the point that the rebellion leaders didn't agree with the aggression against Iraq. But when the US colonialist invasion took place, these war lords unraveled their true faces, and while negotiating with Iraq before the invasion, they were in fact collaborating with the invaders providing total support for the invasion plans. This has been incarnated by the armed rebellion militias attacking Arab areas destroying everything in their way, looting their possessions and killing hundreds of Iraqis. The "Peshmergas" gangsters went on rampage undertaking horrible crimes against Iraqis including the loot of the Iraqi Army heavy armaments mainly those in the northern Iraqi regions.

The question which comes to any faithful Iraqi mind since the invasion and until this moment is the following: Since the invasion took place, were the rebellion war lords truly sincere with the People of Iraq, and especially with its Kurds, concerning what they promised and what they declared since 1958? All Iraqis, parties, social forces and national figures remember today that the Rebellion leadership stuck always to a fixed slogan for more than four decades i.e.” democracy” for Iraq and self rule for Iraq Kurdistan". This slogan didn't change until the beginning of 1991 when their clandestine position came to light and this was completed in 2003 and later on. The Rebellion war lords always denied and condemned anybody who accused them to try to separate from Iraq considering that as a false propaganda against the Kurds. On this basis these war lords established relationships with the National Iraqi Parties and especially the Baath, the Communist party and the Nasserite Party and others continued cooperating on that basis. After the invasion of Iraq however all Iraqi were shocked when they saw that the Rebellion war lords abandoned their proclaimed national commitments with every body, and started to prepare officially and publicly to separate and put aside the slogan "democracy for Iraq and self-rule for Iraq Kurdistan" and adopted another one which is: "Iraqi Kurds staying part of Iraq is a choice taken by the Kurdish leaders, and they have the right to separate."
Here came the US project: the federation, to strengthen these war lords separatist tendencies. Last but not least, the rebellion rejecting the Iraqi national flag was a planned step towards separatism from Iraq, in a direct cooperation with the US Administration and the Zionist entity from one hand and with the puppet Iranian Safawides elements from the other.
Gallant Iraqis!
Talking about events and truths is nothing but an attempt from your Great Party to expose past and present facts, and to shed light on the Baath Patriotic stand and its leadership, mainly the wise position of its General Secretary and the legitimate President of the Iraqi State, His Excellency President Saddam Hussein, concerning the Kurdish Rebellion for we face a campaign filled with lies spread out by Arab TV channels and tools created by the US after the invasion of Iraq, to falsify truths, specially what the Public Prosecutor has been uttering into the puppet tribunal concerning al Anfal ,and that " the Iraqi State has attacked the Kurds because they were Kurds" , and not because the Rebellion war lords have killed thousands of Iraqis and backed Iran in its fierce war against Iraq, which made Iran occupy parts of Iraq in the Autonomous Region!
The US and the rebellion warlords’ attempts to make believe that all this, was a war against the Kurds totally contradict the facts, and also confirms that Iraq was the only country in amongst all those where Kurds live, which gave them total and effective Self –rule. Moreover Iraq has endured human losses of Arabs and Kurds that no other country with Kurds suffered, and inspite all that, Iraq persevered, drunk the chalice of pain and kept on holding to tolerance and never lost an opportunity to issue Amnesty for Rebels to get back to peaceful life and find a solution for the problems through national dialogue.
Ye Iraqi Mujahideens against the Occupation!
Our Great Party, the Arab Baath Socialist party, declares in these delicate and grave circumstances, which Iraq goes through, that the deception and trickeries used by the Rebellion warlords with all the patriots in Iraq since 1958 have uncovered and everyone and mainly the masses of our Kurdish people, know that these leaders have betrayed the Kurds of Iraq and imposed on them great sufferings and involved them in unnecessary problems to achieve personal and familial gains who simply usurped billions of dollars. Also the Kurds of Iraq know that these leaders through their declaration that they want to separate, put them into a very grave situation, the gravest in the whole history of the Kurdish Rebellion.
More important that any thing else the people of Iraq are resolved to not allow another Zionist Entity in northern Iraq! On this basis, our Party reconfirms its national principles and particularly that the self –rule is the only possible solution, and this is not a negotiable principle whatever was the rebellion stand... Liberated Iraq will see the return of the self-rule and its development and overcome its negative points.
As for separatism, we confirm to our Iraqi people specially Kurds that the Separatism will never take place and that the rebellion leaders will not be able to confront the will of the Iraq Kurds who want to remain a part of a democratic and unified Iraq and into a simple and not a complicated State where all Iraqis are effectively equal in front of the law.
