Statement to the leaders, Cadres and the masses of our great Party
Militants!
Our Party did expect that the plotting to undermine its liberated base in Iraq, would be accompanied with series of plotting attempts against the unity of the Party and its organizational fabric, where opportunistic and traitor elements could be used but all will fall apart during our great march of struggle. After the collapse of the (Baath uprooting) politics conceived and executed by the US occupation as a form of (bill) which was not able to stop the heroic Baathist Resistance or to break the Baathists will in Iraq and after the deepening of the Occupier impasse and his stooges, the uprooting bill returned against them, when the Iraqi people executed the strict liquidation of the traitors and the agents, while Resistance grew even further and become a popular armed Resistance, covering all Iraq including the Kurdish region. All that forced the Occupation to start a change in its tactics and intelligence procedures. The US intelligence then established a plan to (contain the Baath) as a camouflaged tool to uproot it ideologically, nationally and from a pan Arab point of view
Comrades
This (Baath containment) plan has gone through two phases the first one: when the agent Iyad Allawi took charge relying on his personal contacts with some members and cadres and proposed to them to join his movement and to get government responsibilities. Effectively Allawi started to divulge rumors concerning so called accords made with many members to join him, asserting that some national symbols of the nation have been already contacted to participate to cooperate. In this phase the (Baath uprooting bill) has been frozen as a trickery.
But our Iraqi comrades awareness inside and outside Iraq has completely thwarted this plan, which was not able to win one single known element. Indeed our comrades showed a clear, moral and defying stand based on Party moral values and principals. There, they confirmed they were Baathists and that the Victory is looming for the Baath and for its armed Resistance, and there is no way of contracting any compromises with the Occupation and its stooges. The state of affairs has forced the US intelligence services to move towards the second phase of their attempt to destroy the Party. This was incarnated into dividing the party inside Iraq with the collaboration of some known Arab secret service members and not only with the Jordanian Mukhabarat, relying on a cunning, treacherous and evil process, claiming: (that the errors of the leader Saddam Hussein, the Party secretary General and Iraq Party secretary, were the causes of Iraq disaster, and that is why we have to elect another new leadership for Iraq.
So in this process, started to act uncovered agents in Arab capitals to polarize Party elements, which left Iraq after the Invasion, spreading lies such as the formation of contact committees to prepare for a provincial congress outside Iraq. As was the fate of the first phase, this dividing attempt against the Party in this way has completely failed. The plotters were unable to implicate any of the Party known executives in this process inspite of the Arab regimes pressures and the loads of material advantages proposed to them
O Resistance and liberation vanguards
O Baathist Militants!
After the collapse of all these attempts, the plotters started and backed by the US and Arab Mukhabarat (secret services) to propagate rumors and gossips about the party (pan Arab shortcomings) and (its inability) to provide the necessary requirements to confront the invasion of Iraq, and in particular into mobilizing the Arab public opinion to support Iraq national armed revolution. This defamation campaign went on and took the forms of articles attacking the Pan Arab leadership in magazines and on websites. To be precise and fair, those who wrote such articles are not all connected with the occupier plans, There are amongst them Baathists and true patriots who believed there were real shortcomings, and because they had no possible connection with the Party, they suggested opinions which were not correct organizationally speaking.
This step was followed by another one, where individuals who have nothing to do with the Party, got in touch with Party organizations in some Arab countries and contacted them under cover of lies, saying they were authorized by a high level Party reference to prepare for a Pan Arab Congress and establish a new strategy. This has a tremendous meaning and shows how the US secret services failed to find one single Baathist ready to betray, this is why they relied on individuals who have absolutely nothing with the party and as they move around, confirms that there is someone covering and paying their travel costs in these difficult times!
Comrades
You all, have practiced, your election right within the framework of the Party democracy. You all know the prerogatives of organizing any congress, be ordinary or extraordinary, Most important being invited through the Party and its organizational chain of command, and through leaders and executives with a legitimate quality. Thanks to these rules and militant traditions, the Party succeeded in the past to organize its Pan Arab and national congresses and to prevent infiltration. Today, however, those who move and get in touch with some comrades belonging to the Pan Arab organizations are not Baathists, and thus it is illogical that any legitimate party structures could have entrusted them. This is necessary to know so as to avoid confusion and to fall into the trap, and the plotting against the Party under the cover of safeguarding it. These people were, apparently encouraged by the ongoing difficult communications, especially in Iraq. This has allowed them to claim that they were entrusted by a Party high structure.
Militants
The Arab Baath Party National Leadership call upon all the comrades, in all the Arab countries, to be careful and cautious, to avoid falling into the trap of these crooks backed by Arab and foreign Mukhabarat, and to keep on holding onto the Party rules and its militant traditions, and reject in particular, any side contacts and insist to find a solution for any question according to the organizational chain of command. In the past our Party has succeeded to defeat all military and intelligence plans against it. Today it is perfectly able to isolate these elements and those who back them and to continue its militant march, especially that this kind of plotting is an expression and a sign of the occupation defeat and its approaching collapse and the liberation of Iraq.
That is why we must struggle with more vigor against the spies and the agents.
Long live our Party, as a militant, audacious on the fields of our countries and our Nation.
