The Oil nationalization
has sparked today's Arab battle for existence!
After almost 35 years, the world discovered that the nationalization of the Iraq oil on 1st June 1972, was the spark which lit a series of wars against Iraq, and was behind the most important developments in the Gulf and the Arab homeland. In the same time, an impossible to conceal fact came to light: the invasion of Iraq aimed particularly to achieve two essential objectives, reestablish control over the Iraqi oil by wiping out the nationalization from one hand and terminate the Iraq's Baath national liberation policy in rapport of defending the Palestinian people and accepting no compromise on this issue whatsoever. The first real objective i.e. to control the oil, was uncovered, when the US administration forcibly and suspiciously wanted to accelerate the signing of the Petrol bill which eradicates the nationalization and re grant the petrol to the former expelled foreign companies, in a move to loot the Iraqi petrol worst than before the nationalization and gives these companies 80 per cent of the petrol resources while leaving Iraq, the petrol owner, with less than 20 per cent at the very best! Now with this clear cut reality, can any body doubts that the petrol was the fundamental reason to invade?
The imposed Petrol bill shows that the US has admitted defeat in Iraq! This is also an attempt to force backwards the wheel of the time! Indeed! The US might forget that the world has progressed since decades and there were fundamental changes in Iraq and in the world since the nationalization.. Arabs have enjoyed the successful experience to use the oil resources for the people, for independent development, to strengthen the national independence, to back the Arab causes and to help brothers and friends. The primary US plan into invasion Iraq was to reformat Iraq again as to be the number one strategic center for the US on the regional and the global level, make the Iraqi oil industry the most important in the world and use it as the principal mean for the US' hegemony.
The Party and its Resistance, however, wrecked this plan by another anti plan and adopted a two main pillars well thought strategy to prevent the Occupation from succeeding. The first was to prevent the US from using the Iraqi oil, to finance its war, and to blackmail the world through controlling the petrol sources.. The second pillar was to prevent the establishment of a puppet government backed by a strong apparatus, to be used as an Iraqi human shield to protect the US from a killer attrition war, and helps it to continue or to succeed.
So how all this happened? Has the Resistance succeeded in this very domain ?
The designed and preset Resistance, has wrecked the US plan, preventing the US from commercially benefiting from the Iraqi petrol, foiling its export and the rehabilitation of the petrol' installation purposely destroyed by the US! Therefore the petrol exports didn't surpass, four years after the invasion, half what was being exported before the invasion despite all the US security efforts and plans to increase the export quantities. This fact has forced the US to confront an almost impossible mission: how to finance Iraq's invasion, while the original plan was to fund the invasion with the Iraqi petrol. This was indeed the biggest US' failures in Iraq and its most difficult problem.
Consequently the Iraqi Resistance succeeded almost completely to wreck the US endeavor to establish an Iraqi shield (a puppet army, a puppet police corps, puppet national guards, and puppet security services) to protect itself from the patriotic Resistance and to provide it with the necessary human and material forces to go ahead with squashing Iraq and its Resistance..
This can be witnessed through the invasion fourth year, where this tottering Iraqi shield reached its weakness, division and failure climax.. becoming rather a burden upon the US back than a defense . Yes! The US was forced to through its soldiers to combat directly the patriotic Resistance, enduring formidable human losses surpassing Vietnam's, even more dangerous and grave that Vietnam's inspite using mercenaries to limit the quantities of the killed US.
What happened in the last few months was decisive for the US occupation.. The US official losses have soared in an unprecedented way since the invasion..According to the US official statements, March, April, and May have been the deadliest due to the Resistance blows inflicting an average of 25 -35 percent of more US losses in comparison with the previous years..the losses being between 103 and 120 US soldiers killed every month, which is a very harming number for the US and the world over knows that the true casualties are much higher.. Then what happened while the US exhausted all its best plans, called its top generals and upgraded its weapons? The US has gone back to the first square of failure and defeat when facing the Iraqi patriotic Resistance.
What this combat progress exactly means? Is the Resistance weakening? Of course not! When the US admits that its losses are on the increase, it recognizes that the Resistance is advancing and marching towards the right liberation path and that the Occupation is about to pack and leave. When the US understood that the only palpable truth on the terrain was its defeat, it planned a pure gangsters' option: 1) to set a strategically lawful loot by imposing the Petrol agreement, and by de facto looting the Iraqi petrol, since the first days of the invasion filling, to maximum its strategic reserves. Furthermore, the Occupation puppets like Talabani, Barazani, Chalabi and else loot the petrol, because they realized that the future belongs to the Iraqi people and its Armed Resistance.. What is happening today in Iraq is the biggest organized and chaotic petrol' loot in history, practiced scandalously under the very eyes and ears of the world and gives us an idea of the formidable US Occupation failure in Iraq.
Also, as the oil nationalization in 1972 was the start of the Arab decisive battles for their future, the liberation of Iraq from Iranian and US colonialism will be definitely accompanied by the liberation of its oil as a sine qua none condition to complete the liberation requests. Yes! Indeed! There is no political or military liberation without a snatched economical liberation! There is no freedom for the people unless it acts as a master on its own economical resources. The Occupation of Iraq has proved that it was impossible to safeguard freedom unless involving the people, all the people, not only into determining the homeland political agenda through democracy, but also into choosing its own economical and social system and the way to use resources for the well being of the society and not only for the benefit of a given elite, some individuals or small groups.
Let's compare what the Occupation has achieved and the social construction made by the Baath through granting every one in Iraq, free medical care, free education, gratuitous or very cheap basic services such as roads, communications, housing, food, security, stability and fuel.. etc! For this reason, the invasion objectives were quickly uncovered, rejected and fought by the squashing majority of Iraqis who remembered how Iraq was before the invasion and how it become afterwards.
The victory in Iraq liberation battle will open wide every gate for the Arab nation liberation and freedom and will redraw the regional map according to the Arab nation' strategic interests.
May the oil nationalization anniversary be an added incitement to strengthening the armed Resistance against the Occupation and to expelling it fast!
Glory and eternity for the nationalization engineer, Comrade martyr Saddam Hussein!
Long live the Baath which put into practice, "Arab oil for the Arabs" motto!
Long live the heroic Iraqi Armed Resistance which wrecked the plan to usurp again the Iraqi oil!
Glory and eternity to the Arab nation martyrs and specially in Iraq and Palestine!
